Cookie policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We only use cookies that the service needs to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner.

Cookies in the seating app (app.seatings.org)

  • aid remembers which seating plans belong to your browser, so you can come back to them without an account. Kept for one year.
  • uid keeps you signed in after you open a sign-in link from your email. Kept for one year, or until you sign out.

Both cookies are signed, so they cannot be changed or read by other websites, and they are only sent over secure connections.

Cookies on this website (seatings.org)

Visitors reading the website get no cookies from us. The site runs on WordPress, which sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site, and for people who leave a comment (to remember their name and email).

Payment checkout

When you pay for the print pack, the checkout is run by Freemius. Their checkout may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. See the Freemius privacy policy for details.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the app's cookies, the app cannot remember your plans. If you delete them, you lose access to plans that are not saved to your email, so save your plans to your email first.

Changes

If we start using any other cookies, for example to measure visits, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
