These terms apply when you use seatings.org and the seating app at app.seatings.org (the "service"), run by [Company name], [Registered address] ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The service
seatings helps you plan who sits where at a wedding or other event and create printable files: a seating chart, escort cards, place cards, table numbers, a menu and a welcome sign. Planning is free. AI seating and downloading the print files need a one-time payment per seating plan (the "print pack").
Using the app
- You can use the app without an account. Your plans are linked to your browser with a cookie. If you clear your cookies or change devices, you can lose access unless you save your plans to your email address first.
- If you save to your email, we send you sign-in links. Keep access to that inbox private.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use the service.
- Share links give other people access to your plan. Anyone with an edit link can change it. You can turn off existing links at any time in the app.
Your content
Your seating plans, guest lists, texts and photos stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service for you, including sending them to our service providers as described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for what you put into your plans and for having the right to use it, including your guests' names and details and any photo you upload.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, to upload anything you do not have the right to use, to try to access plans that are not yours, to overload or attack the service, or to resell it without our written permission.
Payments
- The print pack is a one-time payment for one seating plan. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
- Payments are processed by Freemius, Inc., who acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Their checkout terms also apply to your purchase, and they handle any sales tax or VAT.
- Once paid, the plan stays unlocked. You can keep changing it and downloading new files.
- Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Check before you print
The files are created from the information in your plan. Please check names, spellings, tables, sizes and colors on a proof before you print, especially before paying a print shop. Screens and printers show colors differently. We are not responsible for printing costs, print shop errors, or mistakes that come from the information in your plan.
AI suggestions
AI seating reads your rules and suggests an arrangement. It can misunderstand a rule or miss a preference, so always review the result before you print. The app shows how each rule was understood, and you can move anyone by hand.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available without interruption or errors. We may improve or change features over time. If we ever stop offering the service, we will give you reasonable notice so you can download your files.
Our property
The app, its design, code and templates belong to us or our licensors. The fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License. You may use the files you download for your own event, including printing them as many times as you need.
Ending use
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may suspend access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the print pack of the plan concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. Important changes will be announced in the app or by email before they apply.
