Troubleshooting

Answers to common problems: a missing plan, a guest not on the seating chart, cards printing too small, a rule that is not used.

My plan is gone.

Plans that are not saved to your email live in the browser you made them in. Open that browser on that device. If you cleared your cookies, the link to the plan is lost: write to us with the plan's name and date, and we will try to help. To avoid this, save your plans to your email.

A guest is missing from the seating chart or cards.

Only seated guests are printed. Check the unseated counter in the guest list, and seat everyone, by hand or with AI.

My cards printed too small.

The print dialog shrank them. Print again with the scale set to Actual size or 100%, not "Fit to page". See Printing at home or at a print shop.

The names on the seating chart are very small.

The chart always fits everyone on one poster, so more guests means smaller text. Choose a bigger size, the A-Z layout, couples on one line, or landscape. See Seating chart options.

A rule is marked in orange.

The reason is written under the rule, usually a missing table, area or name. See When a rule cannot be used.

Google Sheets import says it cannot read the sheet.

Set the sheet's sharing to Anyone with the link, then try again. See Import from Google Sheets.

Accented letters look wrong.

All fonts support accented letters. If a name still looks odd, check that it was typed with the right characters, especially when it was copied from another program.
