Excel (.xlsx, .xls), OpenDocument (.ods), CSV and tab-separated files all work. For Excel files, the first sheet is used.
A spreadsheet that imports perfectly
The first row can hold column names. These are recognized automatically:
| Column | What to put in it | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Name | The guest's full name | Emily Carter |
| First name, Last name | Instead of Name, if you keep them apart | Emily / Carter |
| Group or Side | Which side or circle they belong to | Bride's family |
| Plus one | yes, +1, or the partner's name | yes |
| Meal | Their meal choice | Vegetarian |
| Child | yes, or an age under 16 | 7 |
| Table | A table number, if you already know it | 4 |
| Note | Anything else | Grandmother |
Other columns (address, email, RSVP) are fine to leave in. Set them to Ignore in the preview.
Exporting from another planner, The Knot, Zola or a wedding website? Download the guest list as CSV or Excel and import it here. Check the column preview once, and you are done.
